IACSS 2010 - ALUMNI SYMPOSIUM
From 27 to 30 September 2010, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) organizes an International Anti-Corruption Summer School (IACSS) in the form of an Alumni Symposium in order to strengthen ties within the alumni network, which has been successfully built up in the past three years.
The programme of this symposium (motto: “Practice Meets Science”) will include guest lectures of renowned anti-corruption scientists and experts as well as meetings and discussions with participants of previous summer schools. Side events as well as an in-detail presentation and visit of the first International Anti-Corruption Academy, IACA, (http://www.iaca-info.org/) will additionally contribute to the social and global dimension of the event.
The event will take place in the Grand Hotel Sauerhof (http://www.sauerhof.at/) in Baden bei Wien (near Vienna). The enhancement of the alumni network and the exchange between former participants will be essential elements of the symposium. Therefore, only alumni of former IACSS modules have been accepted.
Currently, we are in the stage of finalizing the programme for the Symposium. In the meantime, please see our draft programme:
